What exactly is coaching?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) definition: "Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. It is an ongoing professional relationship that helps people produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses, or organizations.”
The Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) is an ICF approved training program that defines coaching as a profession that "... helps people tap into their inner purpose and passion and connect that with outer goals and tasks to bring about extraordinary and sustainable results."
And to us here at Adirondack Recovery Care, coaching is a practice that we want to share with you, to help you see recovery differently, so you may experience the pure joy of finding freedom from addiction, to be recovered, healthy and whole in mind, body and spirit.
Adirondack Recovery Care uses the IPEC Core Energy Model of coaching to help you realize your full potential and uncover the courage to step into who you are truly meant to be.
